ARIS performs at Confucius Institute 5th Anniversary

Jun 1, 2018

ARIS values multiculturalism and the teaching and learning of various languages within the school. Earlier this Academic Year, with support from the Confucius Institute at the University of Ghana, Mandarin is now an additional language added to our repertoire of languages that are part of the ARIS Curriculum.

On 30th May 2018, the Confucius Institute celebrated its fifth anniversary in Ghana, as it works to “expand its boundaries of Chinese Language teaching and carry out various cultural activities”. This semester, we also celebrated our second Chinese New Year in the PYP Campus, with the Confucius Institute Director being our Guest of Honor.

In celebration of their anniversary, ARIS was also invited to take part as one of the prominent centers of teaching Mandarin in Ghana. A multicultural group of four PYP Students, our Mandarin Instructor Mr. Young, Performing Arts Teacher Mr.Jude, and our Director, Dr. Fatma Odaymat, were invited to participate at the function held at the Institute.

We are so proud of how outgoing and multicultural the whole ARIS Community is! This is for our soaring Eagles!
