PYP Year 1 Math Integration

Our Year 1 Students, today, were involved in an exciting outdoor activity for their Math Integration!

Students worked together to find number pairs to 10. Using the Numicon Kit, they were finding 2 numbers, which would sum up to the value of 10, which they subsequently recorded on paper.

It's great numeracy skills that aid fast thinking and problem solving! The even better part of the activity was seeing the students cooperating and working together in teams to find out their answers, which they would also discuss while performing the learning engagement!
