Learning through play is fun as well as creative!

Our Playgroup students are learning about different animals, so everyday involves a new activity and an inquiry into a new animal.

This morning the Playgroup students were learning about birds, how they are born, how they live, what they do, what they eat and much more! In a creative activity, the Playgroup facilitators assembled grass leaves and little twigs in order to create a nest for a bird.

They worked collaboratively to make a nest. Once the nest was made, the bird would be ready to lay its eggs to hatch.
