GISMUN Congratulations to our ARIS MUN Delegates!

GISMUN 2019

This year’s GISMUN 2019 conference was another wonderful experience, debating, lobbying, and interacting with other delegates from ten schools. The topics for each committee were current and pertinent to our modern global issues, stimulating intense debates and discussions, with delegates coming out with plausible solutions to a range of global problems.

For the first time since our participation in local conferences, we had the opportunity to have two students serving as chairs (Rashida Hassan and Rama El Hassan) in different committees (Commission on the Status of Women, and Arab League, respectively), and we are very proud of all 33 delegates and first-time observers who attended this conference as it has made them more knowledgeable, open-minded, tolerant, confident and better communicators.
