Oh, The Places We'll Go!

The new year 1 unit is how we organize ourselves, the Big Idea is transportation; Decisions involved in using different transportation.

Students were asked to draw and write about a means of transportation that is important to them, and why it's important. The pictures were amazing and the kids had a chance to explain their choices.

One pupil said she needs a car to bring her to school everyday. Another learner said a camel is important to him, he needs it when he visits the desert in Egypt. A student uses a taxi to drive him to the airport, he cant leave his car at the airport when he travels. A pupil from Canada said she uses a bus when she goes to Canada because her family doesn't have a car there.
