The Future of Education - IBDP 1 & 2 Students Interact with Guest Speakers

In what would be considered as a highly insightful zoom meeting, IBDP 1 and 2 Eagles had the opportunity to interact with 2 former Heads at the International Baccalaureate, and the Swiss Education Group!

The two guest speakers were Damian Bacchoo, former Head of DP and CP Programme at the IB, and Jon Halligan, former Head of Development and Recognition at the IB. In addition to this fantastic lineup of guest speakers, were Representatives from the Swiss Education Group. The zoom session began with Jon Halligan giving a presentation of the future of education, Why CP, and the art and advantages of lifeworthy and lifelong learning. His presentation was followed by a presentation given by a representative of the Swiss Education Group and finally Damian Bacchoo who presented on the philosophy of DP.

After the presentations, students were given the opportunity to ask questions regarding the IBCP Programme, and every other thing that was covered during the session. All in all the Guest speaker session was a huge success and our students were highly inspired and empowered to be the transformation that the world needs today!
