Secondary Sports Day 19/20 Congratulations Red House!

Track Races, obstacle races, soccer, ping pong, music and OUR EAGLES! Sports Day at Secondary was a huge success with the participation of our students and facilitators. The houses namely Yellow, Blue, Red, and Green competed fiercely on 24th January 2020, for the trophy of being the best house in sports.

These competitions do not only require only physical strength, but also teamwork and mental work. Even though the sports day meant serious business, our eagles had a lot of FUN. From cheering their housemates on to participating in the competition to listening and dancing to good music and the highlight, the beautiful JAMA session with our awesome facilitators.

At the end of the games and competitions, Green House, who have been 3 years consecutive winners of the Secondary Sports day came out in 4th Place, Yellow House came out in 3rd Place, Blue House came out in 2nd Place and the champions of the day was Red House!

Physical Education is important in the learning process of every child as it does not only have a positive effect physically but also, cognitively and emotionally too. As an institution that strives to develop students holistically to inspire, empower and transform for a better world, Al-Rayan International School places a lot of emphasis on the importance of physical education.
