PYP Around the World

Our Early Years Reception students are making friends in different parts of the world!

This morning our Reception class organized a Skype Call with students in J.M Carras Kindergarten in Athens, Greece! With their current Unit of Inquiry being Friendship, under the Trans-disciplinary theme of “Who We Are”, students from both parts of the world were able to share what they have been learning and also ask questions!

They asked each other questions like – “Who is a friend? Where can we find friends? How do people make friends? How do friends talk to each other? Do you have a pet friend?” and more!

This was a great skype session for the young students to know that friends can be made anywhere from any part of the world! We are sure it was great exposure for the students here and in Greece to interact with each other, and amazing for their communication skills, as they become global citizens from an early age itself!
